Chasing Hope
How far would you go to protect the one you love most?
In 1966, a homeless war veteran discovers a newborn baby in a Toronto dumpster. The abandoned infant makes newspaper headlines across the city—then fades into history.
Nearly sixty years later, Sarah Byrne is determined to give her young son a stable life after the tragic death of her husband. But when she loses the only home she has left, mother and child are forced to live in their car.
The last person Sarah wants in her life is the man she blames for her husband's death. Yet as her options disappear, accepting his help may be the only way to keep her son safe.
Then an unexpected discovery reveals a decades-old secret that ties Sarah to the abandoned baby in ways no one could have imagined. As past and present collide, she must confront long-buried truths, impossible choices, and the surprising ways compassion can echo across generations.
